Cleaning Romania
This initiative was born out of the need to change for the better the image of people who love this type of travel and to clean up the campsites we visit.
Over the last few years, and especially after the pandemic, nature tourism has grown massively in popularity, but lack of education has led to beautiful campsites with rubbish, litter, food containers, and cigarette butts. And we want to change that.

Join the #CleanRomania initiative
Each member of the association has a reusable, waterproof, recyclable garbage bag in the camper at all times. We aim to collect at least the volume of this bag (75L) of rubbish left by other tourists at each outing. Each collection is weighed and taken into account.
At the end of the year, we will produce a report on the number of kilos collected, the number of volunteers involved and the total number of places where we have had a positive impact through this initiative.
Moreover, the volunteers who will collect the most waste will receive one of the prizes offered by our partners.
