WHO ARE WE?
CamperVan Romania Association
The CamperVan Association was born in 2023 out of a desire to help and educate lovers of sustainable alternative tourism in Romania. It comes as a more organized form to the Facebook community "CamperVan Romania", established in 2019, whose main purpose was to initiate in the construction of home made campers and travel ideas.
WHAT DO WE WANT?
Mission CamperVan Romania
- Let’s help green the areas where we camp
- To promote campervan tourism in Romania internationally
- Develop a network of safe camping and dumping sites
- Work with the Ministry of Tourism to help this branch of tourism
- Organise regular outings with association members
We strongly believe that this type of travel, done responsibly, can have a major positive impact both on Romania's image and on the communities that live and thrive from tourism.
Zero Energy Revolution
Our community is built on the idea of self-sufficiency, be it in comfort or resources. The most important resource, on the road, is undoubtedly the electricity in a camper, without which nothing would work. Therefore, with the support of our partners Victron Energy, we are trying to be completely offgrid for as long as possible. We take energy from nature so that we can spend as much time as possible ... still in nature.
